1. What data we collect

When you use DividendCase, we collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Email address — collected when you create an account and used solely for authentication.
  • Portfolio holdings and watchlist data — the stocks, quantities, purchase prices, and dates that you enter into the app.
  • Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and the message you send when you contact us.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not build advertising profiles.

2. Why we collect it

Your data is used only for the following purposes:

  • Providing the service — storing your portfolio holdings, watchlists, and preferences so that your data is available when you return.
  • Authentication — verifying your identity so only you can access your account.
  • Responding to enquiries — using the name and email from contact form submissions to reply to your feedback, feature requests, or bug reports.

DividendCase uses Vercel Analytics, which is entirely cookie-free and anonymised. Page-view data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors. We do not use any advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts, or persistent tracking cookies. As a result, no cookie consent banner is required.

5. Data retention

Your account data — including portfolio holdings, watchlists, and email address — is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently and irreversibly erased from our systems. Contact form messages may be retained for a reasonable period in order to respond to your enquiry.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us via the contact page.
  • Erasure — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Danger Zone within the app.
  • Portability — you can export your portfolio and holdings data at any time from Settings → Export my data.
